The Shire is proposing the closure of the Edward Island Point 4×4 Vehicle Access Track in Lancelin and is calling for written submissions as to why they shouldn’t close it. Some months ago the Western Rock Lobster Council (WRLC – the industry body) asked the state government for permission for WA fishers to sell lobsters/crayfish from their boats at the jetty. This was due to the public showing demanding for that facility and sales to China being disrupted by Covid-19.
