You don’t have to go all the way to Monkey Mia to see dolphins. Lancelin Bay is home to a number of these delightful mammals that ply the shallow waters for a feed most days.
They are often close to shore in knee deep water, rounding up fish for a feed and if you’re patient, you stand a good chance of spotting them.
Morning is the best time and if you’re lucky enough to watch them catch a fish, be ready with your camera as they will often toss it about before devouring it.
LANCELIN, READY AND WAITING
A reminder too that you can get fuel and hot meals, bevarages and more at the Lancelin Gull Roadhouse at the entrance to town. And there’s an electric car charging station opposite the Silver Coast Bakery.
