Lancelin has very light pollution especially if you head north or south of the township, or wander out to one of the dunes. With so little ambient light, the stars simply “POP”!
If you’re planning a trip to town (and if you’re not I highly recommend it), bring a blanket or a sleeping bag and a pillow, and fix your gaze on the stars on a clear night.
You’ll be fascinated by the galaxies above along with the occasional satellite and shooting star or two.
LANCELIN, READY AND WAITING!
