Last night the state government announced they’d be lifting some of the restrictions put in place earlier this week after a quarantine hotel worker contracted coronavirus.
One measure that will remain is the “Only essential travel including work is permitted in and out of the Perth and Peel regions to other parts of WA.”
As such it’s expected this Indian Ocean Drive road block will remain in play resulting in Lancelin remaining cut off from Perth for most people for another 8 days commencing at 6pm tonight (Friday).
Thankfully the Lancelin Colour Blast is set down for Sat Feb 27th, by which time things will have likely returned to near-normal. As it is, our numbers are limited to just 470 people and sales have been very strong thus far.
Rest assured if you have purchased or are about to purchase tickets for the event and Covid causes it to be moved to another date, your tickets will be valid and if you can’t make it, a full refund will be offered.
