On Saturday March 4th, more than 1,100 people gathered on the beach in front of the Endeavour Tavern to take part in the second Lancelin Colour Blast run by the LDCA.

The event was a sell-out with people of all ages turning up for some colourful fun. The introduction of a foam pit was a bit hit.

Volunteer fire fighters from Lancelin and Ledge Point had a field day dousing the entrants in water.

And after the field crossed the finish line, everyone celebrated with a huge colour explosion and then it was off to the Endeavour Tavern for a drink and a feed.

The 2018 event will most likely be run on the March long weekend and you will hear about it first on the Lancelin Facebook page.
