On Friday Jan 26th there are a couple of events in town that you’ll want to be part of.
In the morning the main street car park will be turned into a pedestrian zone for the Lancelin Expo. Small and large traders are invited to set up a stall by contacting the Community Resource Centre prior to the day. There’ll be plenty of arts and crafts for sale plus a BBQ brekky. From 5pm the Lancelin District Community Association will be holding their annual Australia Day BBQ at Harold Park. It kicks off at 5pm with a free sausage sizzle and soft drinks for those who get there early. There’ll also be face painting and a bouncy castle. It’s open to all visitors and locals so get along and enjoy yourself. And there’ll be sand boarding all day out at the dunes. It’s one of the biggest days of the year so if you fail to reserve your board in advance you may dip out. Don’t risk it – reserve your boards here.
